When General Hospital fans first met Elizabeth Webber, she was an aspiring artist. She and Lucky Spencer were going to move to New York City and do the romantic young creatives bit.

But then Lucky “died,” and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) decided to grow up and become a nurse like her Gram Audrey (Rachel Ames). But she’s been keeping up with her sketching, which came in real handy when it came to helping Portia (Brook Kerr) describe her mystery man. Should Elizabeth take her talents to the Port Charles Police Department? What the viewers told us:

The Play’s the Thing

It was almost a tie, but 36% of the audience is happy to watch Liz do anything…as long as a good story comes of it. Elizabeth could certainly help the PCPD. But if the goal is to make her as incompetent as everyone else involved in law enforcement, then that’s not exactly Must See TV. On the other hand, a rip-roaring adventure like back in the good old days could be just what the doctor ordered!

Then again, and almost equal 35% of you argues that Liz is a nurse. And she’s good at it. It’s her career and her calling. Also, we don’t want to put too fine a point on it, but wasn’t Liz having money problems a little while ago despite having a great paying job? Working for the cops will only make matters worse.

Drawn Together

Even last place got a lot of votes in this poll, as another 29% was excited to see Liz making art again. This is who she was always meant to be. She had to give up her dreams, but maybe it was only a matter of putting them on hold? Go for it, Elizabeth! You can be an artist yet!
