Coming up in Port Charles

Carly (Laura Wright) Carly is on the warpath and tells Josslyn (Eden McCoyh), “I already lost one child. I won’t survive if I lose another.” Considering Carly just found out her daughter is not only working for the WSB, but has apparently graduated from rookie agent to government-adjacent problem solver, this is not going to be a gentle mother-daughter chat. Carly wants Joss out, Joss seems more committed than ever, and somewhere Jack’s (Chris McKenna) old office probably needs fresh scorch marks painted over.

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asks Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), “Why don’t we go some places, the two of us, and we catch up?” but Lulu (Alexa Havins) jumps in and says, “I don’t think so.” That is probably wise, since Valentin’s version of catching up usually comes with forged documents, a private plane, and at least one international agency pretending it has jurisdiction. Charlotte may want to run straight into her father’s arms, but Lulu just spent five minutes learning how much her daughter already hid, so she is not exactly in a let’s-pack-snacks-and-flee mood.

As they face off, Tracy (Jane Elliot) says to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “You’re good by comparison. Prove it.” That is vintage Tracy, really. She can offer moral guidance while making it sound like a performance review from a duchess who just found a raccoon in the pantry. Willow may not be Drew-level terrible, which is technically a compliment in Port Charles, but Tracy is not handing out gold stars until she sees receipts, growth, and possibly a notarized apology.

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) asks Chase (Josh Swickard), “Who would frame Willow?” to which he replies, “I think we know the answer to that.” Chase’s attitude toward Michael is starting to mirror Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) attitude toward Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), which means they may need to form an uninformed haters club and meet every Thursday in a room with bad coffee and no evidence. Chase may think he has the whole picture, but Port Charles has a long history of making confident people look like they brought a butter knife to a chess match.
