Coming up in Port Charles

Gio (Giovanni Mazza) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard), “I have no intention of moving out of your house.” That may sound loyal, but staying in Sonny’s orbit is rarely a low-risk housing plan. Gio might want to keep a packed bag ready to go. Just in case.

At the hospital, a wounded Detective Joe (Jonathan Bennett) tells someone on the phone, “Put out an APB on Detective Nathan West.” Poor Joe is trying to function through a head injury after Cassius knocked him out, but at least he knows enough to sound the alarm.

Meanwhile, Cody (Josh Kelly) intercepts James (Gary James Fuller) and “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) with, “James, wait! You can’t leave.” Cody just got Felicia’s (Kristina Wagner) message that “Nathan” is not who he says he is, so this could turn into a very ugly fight to keep James safe.

While Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is about to cut a wire to their prison door, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) asks, “You sure that’s the right wire?” The two are right on the edge of escaping, assuming the escape plan does not immediately turn into a fried-Wyndemere special.

Elsewhere, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) says to Justine (Nazneen Contractor), “Let’s find out how valuable you really are.” Since Sonny is lured into a trap, it looks like Sidwell may be using Justine as bait, which is not exactly the career pivot she had in mind.

At Wyndemere, Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) tells Carly (Laura Wright), “You saved me a trip.” Cullum has that Cheshire Cat grin working overtime, and Carly may have walked straight into the kind of danger that does not come with a convenient exit sign.

And Nina (Cynthia Watros) says to an unconscious Jack (Chris McKenna), “You’re not breathing!” Nina has to act fast to save Jack’s life at Turning Woods after he breathed in the poison gas Cullum attached him to, because apparently, assisted living now comes with medical care, bingo night, and deluxe villain murder traps.
