Laura Webber Baldwin Spencer Collins and Nikolas Cassadine have always had a complicated relationship on General Hospital. She was kidnapped, forced to marry Stavros Cassadine and bear his child, then forced to abandon said child if she wanted to safely reunite with her true love, Luke Spencer.
Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) didn’t even meet Laura (Genie Francis) until he was in his teens, and she needed something from him — bone marrow to save kid half-sister Lulu Spencer. Nik had been raised to detest his mother, so it took a while before they could become close.
Then Laura would periodically disappear for years at a time due to various mental breakdowns, so, you know, their bond is tentative. Would now be a good time for Nikolas to trust his mother and let Laura in on his secret about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)?
If Nik wants Laura’s help, it would help if she knew exactly what was going on, 74% of you advise. And if Nik doesn’t want Laura’s help…well, then, he’s dumb. Nik is so underwater right now he can’t even see the surface from where he’s drowning. Laura is the only one who might be able to help him. Do the right thing, kid.
Since when has Nik ever done the right thing, 23% of voters wonder. His idea of fixing a mistake is to make a bigger mistake. That’s been his entire child-raising philosophy with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Yes, of course, he could use Laura’s help, but he’s definitely not smart enough to ask for it.
There are things a mom really doesn’t need to know about her kid, less than 3% of you advise, and that your middle-aged son slept with a teenager, got her pregnant, then locked her in a tower to keep the secret from his son and wife, definitely qualifies for that.
