Port Charles, New York sure is one hopping mafia town on General Hospital. More than one “family” is desperate to control the territory and….do whatever illegal thing it is they do exactly.
General Hospital Polling
But, mirror, mirror, on the wall, we wanted to know who you think is the baddest of them all. Soap Hub asked, and here’s how you answered.
GH Father Time
No one is better than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), smarter than Sonny Corinthos, or badder than Sonny Corinthos — in a good way, of course, 40% clarify. He is scary…but in a noble way. Powerful…but in a generous way. Domineering…but in a democratic way. In other words, he is everything a mobster should be. He can destroy anyone he feels like. It’s a sign of his angelic spirit that he prefers not to.
General Hospital Family Business
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was always considered the least intimidating of his storied clan. Neither Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) not Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) took him particularly seriously…until Victor got his hands on Valentin’s daughter, and then all bets were off. Now, 28% of the audience is giving him a second look. And starting to shake in our boots a little.
The New GH Gal
Only 25% of you voted for Selina Wu (Lydia Look), even though she’s the only one doing dirty deeds on the daily. But that doesn’t prove her power. That proves her desperation. If she were truly bad, she wouldn’t need to do bad things to prove how bad she is. See above.
General Hospital Jail Bird
A last place 7% are putting their money on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), yes, even while he’s behind bars. If he can keep real inmates from beating up his nephew, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), then you know he still has his old pull. Cyrus isn’t frightening to good people, he’s frightening to bad people…which is real power.
