General Hospital Carly Corinthos and Sonny Corinthos
This isn’t the first time that Carly Corinthos has decided to divorce Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital It’s not even the second. It might not even be the third. The point is, this isn’t exactly a ride-or-die couple.
Divorce is a lifestyle choice with them. But is Carly (Laura Wright) right to be calling the lawyer this time around? What almost 6,000 voters told us about that:
It’s obvious that Sonny (Maurice Benard) is still harboring feelings for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), 40% of you point out. And if that’s the case, he doesn’t deserve the wonder that is Carly. Let Sonny spend some time with a woman who doesn’t love with her whole heart, and that everybody’s business is also her business. See how long it will take before he desperately misses her. That’ll show him!
Carly can go ahead and divorce Sonny in 2022, 26% of the audience shrugs. We all know they’ll be back together by 2023. It always happens this way. And it will probably happen even quicker this time, without Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) hanging around to tell Carly how awesome she is, like usual.
Sonny is such a prize, 18% remind, that any woman should do anything she needs to in order to hold onto him. Nina will obviously be fighting dirty. Carly should do the same. These two are Meant To Be. Think of the children! Theirs…and the ones they’ve snatched from other people.
An almost equal 16%, on the other hand, figure that Carly pulling out the divorce papers is the only thing that will make Sonny come to his senses and realize that losing her would be the worst thing that could happen to him. And then he’ll beg her to come back.
