Which of General Hospital's dead should return?
It’s not that coming back from the dead is an odd thing to do on General Hospital. It’s that, sometimes, it’s a character no one was clamoring for.
On the other hand, there are folks those of us who watch Port Charles daily are just dying to see again. Here are the characters almost 5,000 fans want to see more.
Things just aren’t the same without Helena (Constance Towers), a last place 4% of you sigh. Especially with so much drama happening at Wyndemere. Not just Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and his relationship with that peasant, Anna (Finola Hughes), but can you imagine how Helena would respond to the death of her beloved Nikolas? Ava (Maura West) would finally have someone worthy of her talents to go head-to-head with!
Not only does 28% of the audience not understand what Austin’s (Roger Howarth) point is on the canvas, but you also really miss Howarth’s previous character. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) hasn’t been the same since her husband Franco’s death, and her boys could use their father figure back in their lives. As could the fans.
Ava and Austin may be busy playing Hide the Body, but 30% of voters would prefer it if Nikolas (Adam Huss) weren’t dead, to begin with. There was still so much story left for him and Ava, not to mention Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her baby. The poor prince was cut down in the prime of his life!
We realize that GH managed to run for some 15 years without the presence of Lucas Lorenzo Spencer (Anthony Geary), but it does feel odd to celebrate the show’s 60th anniversary without the character who, along with Genie Francis’s Laura, put it on the pop culture map. Bring back Luke, 38% of viewers are chanting.
