General Hospital Liesl and Scott
General Hospital fans have had over 40 years to watch Scotty Baldwin go from adorable red-headed tyke (played by the kid who played Jody on Family Affair) to handsome blond law student.
From loving husband to Laura Webber (Genie Francis), to bitter young man after she ran off with that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) guy — you may have heard of them? Scott (Kin Shriner) dallied with Heather Webber (apparently conceiving son Franco Baldwin about a year before the two first met in Port Charles), truly fell in love with the mother of his daughter, Serena Baldwin — whom Lucy Coe actually carried to term — then found a nice niche for himself as cranky legal eagle about town.
GH fans also got to watch Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) go from homicidal, sociopathic kidnapper obsessed with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), to the wacky head of General Hospital. She and Scott somehow found each other and their off-beat romance surprised the lovers as much as it did viewers. But should they make it official?
They may not be little Wiley — or even the teen set — but Scott and Liesl are, nonetheless, adorable, and 61% of you would love to see them as blushing newlyweds.
Why bring the government into this, 36% of the audience are wondering? Everything is going gang-busters between Scott and Liesl right now. Why change the status quo? It’s not like they need to file joint taxes. There is absolutely no good reason for this couple to exchange vows!
Only 3% of voters are grossed out by this pairing. Only perfect people should be allowed to have a physical relationship. But, even worse than their geriatric coupling is the fact that, let’s remember, this is the woman who kidnapped Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough). No one who hurt precious Robin should be allowed a moment of happiness!
