Let It Ride: Will Gladys Corbin Gamble Away GH’s Deception?

Gladys Corbin always wanted to live the high life on General Hospital, and her newfound ownership of Deception looks to be her ticket to the big time. That is, unless her little problem – gambling – doesn’t get in Gladys’ way. Will she blow her stroke of good fortune before she can actually get to enjoy it?

GH’s Gladys Corbin: Never Fear, Sonny Is Here

It doesn’t matter what Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) does or how badly she screws up. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will always be there to fix it. Sonny always fixes everything, anyway, and Gladys is family, to boot. Plus, there’s the responsibility he feels over the late Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), and the loss of their baby. Sure, Sonny had nothing to do with that. But if he’s to be the official godfather on Port Charles, that means it’s up to him to fix everybody’s problems – as he sees fit, 68% of the audience advises.

GH: Done and Done

Deception is as good as lost, 29% of you sigh. With Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) gone and Sasha incapacitated, there is no one to keep Gladys in check. And she has no idea what she is doing, either personally or professionally. Then again, how often do we see Deception, anyway? It’s hardly a major player in either the Port Charles or international scene. Would it really be a great loss to never hear about it again?

General Hospital: Good Girl

It’s sad that we could only come up with less than 3% of fans who believe Gladys won’t screw up. The woman has her good points. She truly loved her son. And she is honestly concerned about Sasha… and her money. Maybe this is just what Gladys needs to pull her life together and become a responsible, honest, and upstanding person. We can hope….
