On General Hospital, Victor Cassadine is doing his best to convince Laura Collins that she should join forces with him in order to protect two people they both love — Nikolas Cassadine and Spencer Cassadine.

Oh, and that he didn’t kill Laura’s (Genie Francis) ex-husband, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) is totally innocent, no matter what Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) might say. It was that awful Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier)! Know Better

Laura will never trust a Cassadine on General Hospital, 85% predict. She’s known them longer than anyone else. (Even Robert Scorpio [Tristen Rogers] came to Port Charles after Tony Cassadine [Andre Landzaat] had already made his presence known).

She stowed away on the Haunted Star to an island where she helped Luke defeat Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) evil weather machine. (Luke got to figure out the — very obvious — code that stopped the countdown. Laura stood outside in a ballgown and…supported him. But she was there). And she was the one the family kept hostage on yet another island for years. The point is that there is nothing Victor could do to convince her to trust him.

General Hospital: Stop, in the Name of Love

Even if Victor appears to be making some headway now, 13% of the audience expects Laura to come to her senses sooner rather than later. She may be stringing him along…the better to figure out what Victor is really planning. You have faith in the woman who once defeated the evil clan…while looking fabulous.

You Got It, Dude

Only 2% see Laura falling for Victor’s act. She has a blind spot where Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) are concerned. She will go on protecting them, even when it’s not the best course of action for anyone else.
