On General Hospital, Nina is making up for lost time with her newfound grandson, Wiley, by telling the tot that Willow isn’t his real mother. Something, in the parallel universe that is Port Charles, not only does the tot understand what that means, but he remembers it well enough to repeat what Nina said to Willow.
Carly (Laura Wright), for one, was scandalized. Can you imagine taking a woman’s child away from her and making her think you’re her real mother? She urged Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to cut off all contact between Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Wiley. Is she right? Did Nina go too far this time? What almost 7,000 fans had to say about that:
A winning 37% of the audience believe Nina has proven herself untrustworthy where Wiley is concerned. She was given a chance, and she blew. Can you imagine what kind of anarchy we’d be facing if criminals in Port Charles were constantly being given second chances?
A slightly smaller 35% aren’t quite so absolute. Nina should be allowed to visit with Wiley, as long as she is supervised, and her every word is watched and weighed. Perhaps Carly can stand in between Nina and Wiley and only tell him what she thinks he ought to hear. Since he is some sort of genius, who knows what family secrets Nina might spill to him next.
Finally, 28% of you are open to ongoing visits, but as long as Michael – not Carly – sets the boundaries. Wiley is his son. His and Willow’s. They should be the ones to decide who he can visit with, as well as what Nina is allowed to discuss with him.
Considering how little actual legal standing Nina has to see Wiley, you figure she’ll get with the program fast. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
