Esme Prince has only been on General Hospital for a few months, but she’s already caused plenty of trouble. There was the leaked video of Josslyn Jacks and Cameron Webber having sex – and framing Trina Robinson for the crime. Now there’s the faked pregnancy.
General Hospital Polling
And since she seems to be taking her marching orders from “Daddy” Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom), anything could still happen. After all this, is there any possibility of Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) being redeemed? What almost 3,000 voters had to say:
Beyond the Pale
Grown adults Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Ava Jerome (Maura West), and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) can kill, kidnap and threaten people, but, hey, they have their reasons.
Let’s give them a second chance. And a third. And, you know, love interests. But, Esme, who is barely out of her teens and has yet to kill anyone – that we know of – Esme is too far gone to ever forgive, according to 79% of you. She’s bad to the bone, and she could never, ever change.
General Hospital: And We’ll Have Fun, Fun, Fun
Do you know all those people we just mentioned? Yeah, they were more fun in the early days, when they did what they wanted and didn’t feel the need to cry crocodile tears of contrition. And a much smaller 13% of the audience think Esme should avoid falling into their trap. You do you, girl! Lean into your badness! And let us enjoy it!
Equal Treatment Under the Law
Finally, 8% take the opposite track. If those criminals above can be redeemed and forgiven, then Esme should be too. She’s just a kid. And while it may be fun to watch her, we’re not looking forward to her fall. She deserves better. So she should straighten up and fly right!
