When she isn’t busy being thrown off parapets, Esme Prince has two goals for her General Hospital life: Obey her creepy, incarcerated Daddy…and find out who her biological Mommy is.
General Hospital Polling
While the former is very, very disturbing, we do understand her need for closure on the latter. Which is why we’ve got suggestions for who it should be!
GH: Out of the Blue
Please, no one who is currently on the canvas, 59% of the audience is begging. In fact, we’d prefer it if it was no one we’d ever heard of at all. Why? Isn’t it obvious? Because the last thing we need is for Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) to be related to anyone else in Port Charles.
This way, she can cut a wide swatch of destruction without being weighed down either by familial feelings or, worse, blood ties. We want Esme available to sleep with and screw over anyone. That’s harder to do if Mommy Dearest…or, worse, siblings…are taken out of the equation.
The Obvious General Hospital Suspect
Why are we even pretending it could be anyone but Felicia Scorpio (Kristen Wagner), 30% of you are rolling your eyes like the pissed-off teenager Esme is. The show has practically hit us over the head with it repeatedly.
Sure, we’re very curious about how and why Felicia would sleep with the guy who terrorized her, then carry her child to term and give her up for adoption. Why not just dump her on Mac Scorpio (John J. York) like she did her other two daughters? Unless this is another Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) stolen egg situation.
Duel to the GH Death
A last place 11% hope it turns out to be Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). We can imagine her having a one-night stand with a guy she never really saw clearly or remembers — which explains why she didn’t recognize him in Port Charles. And she and Esme certainly hate each other enough to be mother and daughter.
