Esme Prince took a dive into rock-filled waters on General Hospital, about to become a mother herself, but still with no idea of who her own birth mother is. Now, she’s in the hospital, claiming amnesia and, if she’s faking it, doing an awfully good job. Heather Webber, she who can come and go from a mental hospital as she pleases, was surprised when the lost girl didn’t recognize her.

Heather had given Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) the impression that she hasn’t had any contact with her daughter. But is that really the case? Right now, Esme is a bit confused by this stranger’s interest in her. Can she trust her newfound, and not particularly wanted, friend?
GH: Inside Job
Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) could use a friend with experience getting in and out of mental hospitals, and Heather (Alley Mills) certainly fits that bill, 8% of you advise. This is a whole new world for Esme. It’ll be good to have an old hand to show her the ropes.
General Hospital: Protection Racket
Even before she got amnesia, Esme was a spoiled princess. She may know how to manipulate less savvy teens than her, but she has no idea how to take care of herself in the real world. She’s going to be chewed up and spit out. Unless she has Heather there on her side, 42% are betting. Esme doesn’t have to become best friends with Heather, but she should use her to make sure she can manipulate the current situation to the best advantage.
Get Lost
Then again, exactly half of the audience, 50%, can see no good coming of such an alliance. Esme might finally be becoming a better person. The last thing she needs is Heather poisoning her mind the way Ryan did in the past. Keep your distance, Esme!
