On General Hospital, Ned Quartermaine wanted to take over ELQ so badly that he voted in a way that might cause his wife, Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine, to lose her hotel — or at least get partners she doesn’t want.
General Hospital Polling
Could this be the end of their marriage? Or will Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) be able to move past it? What over 2,000 voters would like to see happen:
GH: Way Past It
Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia have been through worse, 49% of you dismiss. They survived Julian Jerome (William deVry) going after Leo, as well as Leo’s autism diagnosis.
Oh, and there was that whole Ned sleeping with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) thing, not to mention Olivia’s very active flirting with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). If they worked through all of the above, they’ll work through this. In the end, it’s just a hotel. And it’s just a family company. It’s not worth breaking up their own family for.
General Hospital: Me and Mine
A slightly smaller 47%, on the other hand, are fully on Team Olivia. She worked so hard her whole life. A single mom who raised Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) all on her own, she scrimped and saved and struggled.
And then she married a wealthy guy and is now a successful businesswoman. Losing her hotel would make Olivia feel like she was right back where she’d started — only now with more money. She has every right to walk out on Ned over this. After she, you know, takes his money.
GH: Whatevs
Only 4% of the audience is expecting Olivia to take the setback in stride. She knows how important running ELQ is to Ned. And it’s not like he won’t be able to buy her another hotel once he’s sitting in the big chair and able to authorize any investment he likes. Maybe she can even take advantage of this development to trade up!
