General Hospital – American Idol: Should Chase Give Singing a Try?

Brook Lynn Quartermaine is always looking for the next big thing on General Hospital. And now she’s decided the next best thing is Harrison Chase. Not because he’s a great guy who helped her with The Great Bailey Caper.

But because if Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) can no longer have a singing career, then Chase (Josh Swickard) having one is the next best thing. Should he go for it?

GH: Port Charles Has Got Talent

The boy has pipes, 59% of you cheer! Brook Lynn is a professional and if she thinks Chase has a future in the entertainment industry, then he should listen. Brook Lynn is happiest when she’s a queen bee in charge of…everything. If Chase wants their relationship to have any kind of chance of succeeding, he needs to do what she says. About everything.

General Hospital: True Calling

Chase was born to be a cop, 37% of voters beg to differ. That’s what makes him happy — and that’s what gives him a chance to do good. The singing thing is, at best, a whim, at worse, just giving in to Brook Lynn’s whims. It’s too superficial and trivial for a good-hearted, noble guy like Chase. If he drops his law enforcement career, he’ll regret it for the rest of his life. And for no good reason!

GH: Different Strokes

He is a nice guy, but 4% would like to take a moment to whisper that…uhm…he’s not a very good cop. He may want to play the hero who supports truth, justice, and the American Way. But mostly, he just ends up punching people. And, we agree, most of them deserve punching. But cops really need to have better control over their tempers. Maybe he’ll do less damage as a singer. Even if it also means he does less good.
