After months of wondering, General Hospital viewers finally laid eyes on The Hook’s face. And it was none other than Heather Webber, crazy woman about town, and now serial killer.
Sure, Heather (Alley Mills) has killed before. That’s why she’s locked up in that incredibly unsecured mental health facility. But did she kill all The Hook’s victims?
We saw Heather scratch Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) with her poisoned hook after Britt protected Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from getting stabbed. Now Britt is dead. Since Heather killed Britt, that means she killed Brando, Rory, and all the other day players. It’s basic math, 15% point out.
Heather may not have personally stabbed every single one of them but — though getting revenge for anyone even thinking of being mean to Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) seems like a possible motive — she knows who did, according to 42% of you. This was a group project, the kind nobody likes doing in school. Only now, it involves killing. Maybe it was Heather and Esme. Maybe it was Heather and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Maybe it was Heather and someone the writers haven’t made up yet.
And then there is the almost equal 43% of the audience who think Heather only killed Britt as a way to make it clear Esme couldn’t be responsible. Of course, Esme was locked up by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) while other stabbings were committed. But Heather didn’t know that. So either the security there was as good as at Heather’s hospital, or this was all for nothing. Then again, what’s Heather got to lose? She’s already under lock and key…kind of. This one could be considered a freebie.
