Oscar clearly feels worse than his General Hospital family than he does for his own dying self because that’s the kind of sweet boy Oscar is.
After all, his parents, Joss and Cam will just be heartbroken when he dies. However, when he sneaks out of the Q mansion for some alone time, he runs into someone very familiar in Lila’s garden. Familiar because this person looks EXACTLY like him.
Grover explains he was adopted and used an online DNA kit to track down his family and discovered not only is he a twin, but also a Quartermaine.
Oscar’s mind starts to race immediately and he realizes Grover is the secret to his loved ones’ happiness. The pair rush to see Andre Maddox and beg him to do a memory transfer quick. Give Grover Oscar’s memories so he can take over his life when he’s gone and nobody will be any the wiser.
Grover had a sad life so he’s totally fine with losing the memories of his first 16 years and receiving Oscar’s. After the memory transfer is complete, Oscar fakes a coma and then has Grover replace him. When he wakes, Terry will find it’s a miracle — the tumor is GONE!
However, the real Oscar left town to die but is kidnapped by a very-much-alive Helena Cassadine who gives Oscar the secret to eternal life. Then, she programs him to be her soldier boy.
This way, Oscar can be just like his dad. And, now that Soap Hub thinks about it, if it wasn’t APRIL FOOLS DAY, this could be a pretty good story.
