Days of Our Lives is about to give us a shocker, but should it be all that shocking? Did it ever make sense that sweet Claire who returned to town SOARAS’d and ready to be the next young heroine would be a homicidal fire starter?
Of course not and that’s because she’s not. Sure, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) had always been a bit pouty and whiney, but a demented, sex-obsessed, would-be murderers?
That makes no sense. Claire was so guilt-ridden keeping the secret of Rafe’s affair with Sami from Grandma Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that she blurted the secret out at Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope’s wedding.
But, between then and last summer, it turns out the Claire we have seen has not been Claire at all. Instead, it’s been her separated-at-birth twin, April, who’s been causing such a ruckus around town.
It was April who took over Claire’s life and decided she wanted Tripp (Lucas Adams) and would do anything to get him. The switch took place in South Africa when Claire went to visit Theo last year.
Since then, April has had a one-track mind. Trap Tripp and if that meant getting rid of Ciara (Victoria Konefal), then she was willing to do it.
April has also been fooling everyone because today is APRIL FOOLS! (But, can you imagine this really happening?)
