Ava Jerome is certainly a controversial character who you either love, hate, or love to hate. We here at Soap Hub absolutely love her (while understanding many fans just don’t) and we want to see something amazing for her.
Yes, something other than the wrong man. Her daughter’s boyfriend. WRONG! An ex-priest who wanted to change her. Way WRONG! A serial killer who killed her daughter. SUPER MEGA WRONG! But, that’s Ava — always someone who just couldn’t be worse for her — until the next one.
Well, on Thursday night Broadway, primetime, and former daytime star Michael Park had a suggestion on Twitter. Here is how it went down. The official General Hospital Twitter tweeted a pic of Franco at The Floating Rib asking what might happen to him.
Then, Maura West chimed in and said she wouldn’t mind if he started hanging out more at Ava’s place. After that, came our surprise. Michael Park, who starred opposite West for years as Jack against her Carly on As the World Turns tweeted, “I’d like to start hanging out at Ava’s.”
West responded to that with, “Shoot, she’d give you the key.” And, we at Soap Hub emphatically nodded our heads, “YES!”
That’s right, GH, give us Michael Park and that incredible Park/West chemistry we loved when they gave us CarJack in Oakdale all those years ago. Ava needs the right man, one who will love her. We don’t care who he is, we just want him on GH. Heck, he can even be the new Nikolas. Just make it happen.
Of course, we know it’s not all that easy. Park would have to be available to work and work on the West Coast, among other things. But, we can still dream, right? Hey, you never know…General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
