Nick Stabile OFF GH! Will Tyler Christopher Return?

Poor Nikolas Cassadine has now died twice since May–both times going out a “General Hospital” window.

The Dark Prince faked his death the first time, but this time it seems real. When Nik flew off the Cassadine Island balcony, GH aired Nick Stabile’s last scene in the role, according to the August 1 issue of Soap Opera Digest.

The pinch hitter entered the scene in June after Tyler Christopher requested personal leave. He shared most of his scenes with Maura West’s Ava, as the pair became odd travel companions on a journey through Europe.

But, alas, the romance between the cunning Cassadine and the maniacal mobster was over before it truly began.
 
While young Nicolas Bechtel posted what appeared to be a new photo of him and his usual on-screen dad last week, there’s still no confirmation regarding Christopher’s return to the 53-year-old soap.
