Remember how Valentin was supposed to be such an evil Cassadine that even the heretofore most evil Cassadine of them all, Helena, was afraid to face him on General Hospital?
Uhm…citation needed. What really, really, even beyond Helena (Constance Towers) evil thing has Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) done exactly? He seems pretty run of the mill to us.
Of course, we’re open to having our minds changed. Amaze us, Valentin. Tell us something badass you’ve done lately. Like… maybe… hidden away a presumed dead Prince? Does Valentin know where Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) is? Almost 6,000 fans gazed into their crystal balls to vote:
Damn Skippy
Of course, he knows, 91% of you are fervently hoping. Or else what’s his point? OK, he lied to Nina (Cynthia Watros) about her daughter. So what? You’re not quite sure what Nina’s point is most days.
And, OK, he and Lulu (Emme Rylan) have a contentious relationship over Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). But that’s gotten old and stale and pointless. If Valentin wants a reason to remain relevant on the canvas, he’d better stir up something, and fast. Bringing back Nik would certainly be one way to get in on the action.
Heck, if Valentin plays his cards right, he might even come out the hero. And you know that’s how he’s dying to be perceived.
Clueless
Valentin hasn’t a clue, 9% of the audience dismisses. He’s too wrapped up in his domestic drama to be a true Cassadine, where kidnapping people and faking their death is like a celebration.
If he knew where Nik was, he’d have played that card by now. The man has the impulse control of a toddler. Now, Valentin might want to make people think he knows where Nik is, so he can mess with them a little. But he won’t deliver the goods. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
