On General Hospital, Valentin and Lulu have a daughter, Charlotte. They never slept together. Charlotte was conceived in a petri dish and implanted into Claudette courtesy of Helena (Constance Towers) for…reasons.
It’s especially intriguing that Helena got her hands on one of the eggs Lulu (Emme Rylan) froze so that she and Dante (Dominic Zoparonga) could have a baby, and, based on Charlotte’s age, that had to have happened years before Lulu and Dante ever met. But if Cassadines can try to freeze the world using diamond dust, surely a little time travel isn’t beyond them.
So now Lulu and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are hostile co-parents. But should hate turn to love? Or, at least, a hot and sleazy affair. How almost 17,000 fans see it:

Are you kidding me, 89% of you are doing the best you can to suppress your gag reflex. How — why??? — would this ever happen? This isn’t a pair of former lovers rekindling their feelings while bonding over their child.

These are two complete strangers, who had a brutal custody battle and continue to squabble over how to treat Charlotte’s less than pro-social personality. What point would an affair have, except to make Nina (Cynthia Watros) even crazier?
And she’s got that part covered. Sure, Lulu misses Dante. But even Peter (Wes Ramsey) would make more sense than Valentin!

At the same time, though, 11% of viewers are weirdly intrigued by the idea. Valentin knows how to be charming — when he wants to be… especially if there’s a piano in the vicinity. And he and Lulu are connected through Charlotte, whether Lulu likes it or not.
Nina is about to find out how Valentin paid Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to pretend to be her long-lost daughter. So that relationship isn’t long for this world. And Dante is still away… General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
