News Update: Kirsten Storms’ Incredible Dad’s Day Tribute To Brandon Barash

Here at Soap Hub, social media posts from Days of Our Lives star Brandon Barash with his daughter, Harper, always give us the feels. Now, Harper’s mom, General Hospital star Kirsten Storms melts our hearts with how she feels about this Super Dad and his little girl.

“Happy Father’s Day to @brandonjbarash ☺️ I’m not going to get all gushy and sentimental (you made fun of me for buying Harper an extremely large – much bigger than I thought it was going to be – Barbie airplane last night and I’m still “mad” at you. 😬), but you more than deserve an Instagram post today.

“Your love for our kid is endless – I see it in the hugs you give each other when you’ve only been apart for a few days (pic #1), the way she runs to hold your hand after you’ve just “danced” (we’ll call it dancing, but those moves are hard to describe) to her singing on a hike (pic #2), how proud you are when she’s worked to accomplish something (pic #3), and the way you make her laugh & have fun (i.e. wrestling during my FaceTime calls – pics #4 thru #6 – which I actually enjoy watching. Maybe because she sometimes kicks your tush. Heh heh heh 😏). Happy Father’s Day, B!!”

Her post includes a series of daddy-daughter photos that illustrate the love between Harper and Barash, including one taken as Harper virtually graduated kindergarten recently. (Many kids have had virtual graduations this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.)

Storms and Barash split four years ago but have maintained an amazing relationship to raise their daughter together. Harper is now six years old and spent the first few years of her life playing Maxie’s daughter, Georgie, on GH. The pair met when Barash played Johnny Zacchara on the ABC soap, but he now plays Jake on Days of Our Lives, a man who may or may not really be Stefan O. DiMera.
