The Real Reason Lulu Must Return to GH Right This Minute

Lesley Lu “Lulu” Spencer Falconeri has been in a coma on General Hospital since December of 2020. She left behind a husband, two kids, and a grieving mother. (Also a trio of brothers who all have more important things to worry about.) We all know Lulu is destined to wake up eventually, and now would be the best time for it to happen, given that Jason recently returned to Port Charles.

The Love Quad, Soon You’ll Be Making Another Run

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) mourned Lulu (Emme Rylan, who talks her exit here). Even though they weren’t officially together at the time of her collapse. But he moved on. With Sam (Kelly Monaco). Sam was mourning the love of her life, Jason (Steve Burton), who was presumed dead yet again. Even though they weren’t officially together at the time of his umpteenth alleged shuffle off the mortal coil.

Sam and Dante are super happy together. Or so we’re told. We don’t really see that much of them. But now Jason is back. So if Sam is going to have other options, shouldn’t Dante, as well? Paging Lulu!

You’re Never Too Old To Be Young

Dante and Lulu’s son, Rocco (Finn Francis Carr), is happy in his blended family with Dante, Sam, and her kids, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), and Scout (Cosette Abinante). Or so we’re told. We don’t see that much of them. Rocco was super upset when Dante was shot, and he, Danny, and Danny’s other brother, Jake (Hudson West), all suddenly showed up on-screen to discuss it.

But now that Jason is back, Danny is going to feel pulled towards his biological dad — who’s cool and has a gun, and everything. Rocco is going to feel both left out, and angry at Danny’s betrayal of Dante. If Lulu chooses this moment to wake up, Rocco is going to want his family back together, if only so he can get away from Danny. And Lulu and Dante are going to have to have lots of confabs about their troubled son.

And then there’s Lulu’s daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez, who gave thanks not too long ago). She’s…nuts. She tried to kill Anna (Finola Hughes). She got shot by Anna. Now Anna and Charlotte’s doting Papa Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are broken up. So there is no one to keep Charlotte in check.

Maybe Lulu could get the job done. Maybe between her and Laura (Genie Francis), they can keep this Cassadine spawn from going full-Cassadine. And, if it works with Charlotte, Laura might pick up some tips for raising Ace, too.
