Nicholas Alexander Chavez General Hospital Travel Tuesday
Spencer Cassadine may be headed off to Pentonville but his portrayer, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, is in Europe enjoying the sights of at least two different locales. Soap Hub is keeping track of the Daytime Emmy-winner’s Instagram account as he chronicles his travels to Turkey and Greece.
“Wild times!! My soul feels free…” Chavez posted on social media along with a slide show of his journey to Istanbul, Turkey. You can check out the slideshow in the post below. “Also,” the actor notes, “please enjoy the last picture of me dressed as Ottoman royalty lol.”
The actor’s followers had lots of questions and comments about both Chavez and his journey. “First off, thx for sharing your travel adventures with us,” tweeted @apageaway. “Also, I must know if your favorite color is blue because you wear it quite often. My question is, what was your favorite thing about the entire experience in Istanbul?”
“Looks like a wonderful trip. Your acting is phenomenal,” posted @donnamariesmith4. Adds @tonyd9019: “Dude, glad you’re enjoying yourself want to say loving these scenes in GH you’re ‘The Man.'”
“@nicholasalexanderchavez, what an amazing experience you are having on your trip,” posted @dorothynpartain. “Feeling your soul be free is epic. So glad you’re exploring and relishing in different cultures. So beautiful. Oh, and by the way… [Loving] your exceptional acting as Spencer on GH.”
Nicholas Alexander Chavez has also posted photos of his visit to Athens, Greece. “The Greek prince returns,” the actor wrote. Chavez is, of course, referring to his character’s Greek origins as his father is Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). The Cassadines are Greek. They were first introduced in the fall of 1980. Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) was hired by Edward Quartermaine (David Lewis) and his niece Alexandria Quartermaine (Renee Anderson), to track down the enigmatic Cassadine clan. In 1982, Laura Webber Spencer (Genie Francis) was kidnapped by the Cassadines and kept a prisoner on Cassadine Island, where she gave birth to Nikolas.
“Wow, thank you for sharing your vacation with us,” posted @ninakelpedis. “I’m Greek, my father’s family from the Pontia Turkey.” Added @afireinside.for.nature: “A much-earned vacation.” @nash_dez_88 wrote: “Glad you’re back having fun oh my God, all the pictures look so freaking amazing. I’ve always wanted to go to Greece it looks so freaking beautiful.”
