Bryce Durfee’s character, Vaughn, has his hands full being Josslyn’s WSB handler on General Hospital. He’s been helping to investigate the devious Professor Dalton, but ended up kissing her as a distraction when they were searching the teacher’s office, and Emma walked in. That charade seems to have begun blossoming into a romance. And time will tell where that goes. In real life, Durfee has his own fairy tale romance going on, and he opened up about how it all started.
They Met Through a Friend
Durfee spoke with Soap Opera Digest about his marriage to Amber Rood Durfee. The two can be seen in hilarious videos that they post on Instagram, and their meeting was like something out of a soap opera. The actor explained that he bumped into Amber’s former roommate “at a casting for Power Rangers, of all the shows, and we got acquainted, [and] became best friends.”
She had moved back to Vermont, but he and his buddy went to Tahoe. When she saw a pic of the two on Instagram, she was curious as to who Durfee was. The actor had been moaning to his buddy about his failed love life, and the friend stated, “Oh, light bulb, you two should meet! She’s amazing, you’re amazing. You’re both into nature and hiking and all that stuff.”

She Wasn’t Interested in an Actor/Model
Despite the fact that she was uninterested when she found out Durfee was an actor and model, he admitted, “I may have stalked her on Facebook a little bit and sent her a message and continue to send her messages.” Ultimately, that tactic paid off, and they talked and texted each other for several months until she went to California with her brother to go snowboarding.

The couple were immediately attracted to one another, and Durfee was even happy that her brother and he got along famously. “And she and I have been together ever since,” he remarked. They got married in 2019 and are still together, making funny Instagram videos and enjoying their time with their dogs.
