You Better Work: General Hospital’s Maurice Benard And Scarlett Spiers Face Off

General Hospital star Maurice Benard shared a wonderful moment with his Port Charles daughter, Scarlett Spears. The two acted like models, and he showed her how to walk down the runway properly.

Who Knew Benard Could Sashay?

Set to the tune of the INXS song New Sensation, GH’s Maurice Benard (Sonny) and his pint-sized co-star, Scarlett Spears (Donna), both shared a hilarious video to Instagram recently. The two are most likely in the hair and makeup department of the studio, which contains several tall chairs in two rows facing each other, with a giant mirror at the end of the walkway. Spears sauntered to the mirror with hands on her hips, spun around while flipping her hair, and walked back down the row, just like a fashion model.

Benard hysterically took a turn walking down the faux runway, spinning at the mirror and sashaying back, showing his mini-me how it’s done. He captioned the video, “@ before acting, I was modeling extremely unsuccessfully but I plowed forward and ended up even more unsuccessful. But it did get me into acting.” He then referred to his scene partner’s portrayer, writing, “This little girl right here @miss.scarlett.brielle is a star triple threat and she plays my daughter on [General Hospital].” (Find out what the fans thought about Donna’s Spina Bifida story.)

Fans Gushed Over Her Cuteness

One follower pointed out how Benard was being a great role model for Spears by writing, “Love it. Doing the right thing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” Fans were so happy to see the two having fun, and heart emojis flowed back and forth between them and Benard, who appreciated the comments. Another fan responded, “So special watching you with your GH family. Great tips and tricks for all your young staffers. Love all your mentoring and energies.” 

Spears herself responded with, “😂😂😂😂 love it!!! 😍😍🥰🥰 we miss you❤️❤️❤️,” to which Benard lovingly replied, “@miss.scarlett.brielle Love you too girl.” Many of the fans thought the video was amazingly cute, and one wrote about the uncanny resemblance between the actors, stating, “I adore Donna on GH. She’s perfect!!
