Lydia Look and Kathleen Gati Explain Working Together — But Not On GH

Almost two months ago, a social media post of Kathleen Gati and Lydia Look working together sparked the imaginations of General Hospital viewers who were hoping (and assuming) that they would soon be treated to their Port Charles counterparts, Liesl Obrecht and Selina Wu respectively, finally meeting and interacting. They would be wrong.

Lydia Look Sets The Record Straight With Kathleen Gati

In the posts, one of which you can see below, Gati stated clearly that it was another set but perhaps hopeful fans either forgot or neglected that part of the posting and were expecting that those scenes would be airing shortly and shared their excitement on Twitter. Look saw the announcement and responded, wanting to clarify the misunderstanding. What happened next was a lovefest that fans adored.

“[Gati] and I worked together on another project recently,” wrote Look. “Hence, the confusion. I do, however, look forward to scenes with her someday! She’s wonderful! xoxo.” That is certainly a sentiment that viewers could get behind — as both actresses are beloved on Twitter.

Kathleen Gati saw the response and chimed in with her own appreciation for her co-star. “I look forward to that as well! [Lydia Look] rocks as an actress and as an incredible person!! #FutureReady 🤗❤️”

That thrilled Look, who responded by saying, “Love you [Kathleen Gati] sister! I can’t wait till we get scenes together! xoxo.” She then shared Gati’s Tweet and added, “Nothing beats love from a legend like [Kathleen Gati]! ❤️🙏💛” While both were mum on the other project, it’s a sure bet fans will be flocking to watch it once we do know…and we’ll also be hoping that one day Liesl and Selina share a scene…perhaps a cocktail at The Savoy?
