As we see flashbacks on General Hospital of Holly and Robert, we are reminded of Robert’s other daughter, Robin Scorpio. We watched her portrayer, Kimberly McCullough, grow up on the show and move on to become a talented director. Now, she’s got a new project that she’s excitedly been shouting about from the mountain tops.
She Gave Fangs to Everyone
McCullough wrote on Instagram, “Secret project isn’t a secret any longer!!! @randi.barnes @timfederle @bnorthreist You are all my lucky stars! Can’t wait to see our little “batkins” spread her wings. 🦇 🧛♀️ Thank you Disney Channel for giving me my first job as a TV director (2012) and as pilot director!!! She featured a screenshot from a Deadline article describing two new TV shows from Disney Branded Television. This included Vampirina, a show about a tween vampire who tries to live among humans at a boarding school for performing arts. An overly protective ghost also watches over her. McCullough was the director and executive producer for the show’s pilot.

Her former GH TV Mom, Finola Hughes (Anna), excitedly responded, “Woo Hoo!!!! 👏🏻 amazing 😻,” while her erstwhile co-star Brandon Barash (Johnny) shared several applause emojis. Deadline also stated that Vampirina is “based on the books by Anne Marie Pace and illustrated by LeUyen Pham, is inspired by the Disney Jr. animated series Vampirina from Chris Nee.” (Revisit a recent McCullough and Hughes reunion)
McCullough praised executive producer and showrunner Randi Barnes (Girl Meets World), as well as two other executive producers, Tim Federle (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and Bronwyn North-Reist. Thrilled fans congratulated McCullough, including Sarah Brown, who originated the role of Carly on GH, who responded, “Awesome 👏❤️.”
McCullough’s fans eagerly await an announcement of when the series will premiere.
