Kate Mansi has been prominent on General Hospital as Kristina faces one heartbreak after another. Now, the character finds herself in a moral dilemma that will impact her life in more ways than she can imagine.
The past few months have been tough for Kristina because of the loss of her baby and her breakup with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). In the midst of her grief, Jagger (Adam J. Harrington) used her as a pawn to take down her father, Sonny (Maurice Benard). That was the final straw for Kristina, who stole one of Sonny’s guns, intending to kill Jagger.
Luckily, Kristina didn’t go through with her plan, but her actions had consequences for others. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) found the gun and, fearing the worst, disposed of it to protect her daughter. However, Alexis’ decision landed her in prison for Jagger’s murder.
Alexis taking the rap makes Kristina feel guilty. Her conscience increases when she learns that Sonny murdered Jagger. Kristina is torn between her parents and must decide whom to protect.
So, will Kristina’s next move be a good one or a bad one?
Mansi gave a hint during a recent interview with Michael Fairman TV.
“I think that Kristina will always be someone who is of two worlds, right?” the actress said. “She was raised by Sonny Corinthos. He has a moral code and all of those things she tells herself. But I think there’s some big things coming that will also be a really big shift in Kristina’s world that will change her perspective a bit.”
Will Kristina turn her father in to save Alexis? Or will she let her mother stay in prison to protect Sonny? Whatever she decides, Kristina and the Davis and Corinthos families will never be the same again.
