Did GH’s Josslyn Just Cross the Line Into Villain Territory?

Josslyn’s WSB instincts took over when she captured Valentin, but the real shock came during her fiery confrontation with Carly.

On General Hospital, Josslyn moved through Carly’s house as if she were clearing a building, not just visiting her mother. Gun in hand, slow steps, every bit of that fresh WSB training activated. When she eased open the attic door, Valentin was hiding in plain sight. After telling him to freeze and hold his hands up, she went straight at him, knocked him down, bound him, and took control of the situation before Carly stormed in and the real fight started. What came after wasn’t just about Valentin being there. It revealed something deeper about where Josslyn’s head is right now.

Key Takeaways

  • Josslyn found Valentin hiding in Carly’s attic and quickly subdued him.
  • Carly and Josslyn clashed over Josslyn’s secret WSB actions and pursuit of justice.
  • Joss defended killing Cyrus and blamed Sonny for years of damage.
  • Carly realized her daughter had gone further down a revenge path than expected.
  • Joss is starting to eerily sound like many of Sonny’s other enemies.

When Justice Starts Looking Personal

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) believes she’s on the right side of this. In her mind, everything traces back to Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and the chain reaction that followed Dex’s (Evan Hofer) murder. She confronted Cyrus, pulled the trigger, and saw that as justice.

That same confidence was clear when she went head-to-head with Carly (Laura Wright). The argument between them wasn’t cautious or diplomatic. Josslyn spoke as if she had already settled the moral calculation and decided who deserved to lose.

Then Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) name entered the conversation, and Josslyn didn’t soften an inch. She talked about taking him down along with everyone else connected to that world, describing it as something that needed to happen, finally and completely.

The Family Pattern Showing Through

Carly reacted just as you’d expect. Shock first, then anger, and beneath it all, the sinking realization that her daughter had already gone further into this fight than anyone realized. She begged Josslyn not to ruin her own life chasing revenge.

Josslyn didn’t blink. Instead, she fired back, calling out years of hypocrisy around Sonny and the choices that the family kept excusing. It was in that moment that she ceased being an explaining daughter. She became someone who believes the rules no longer apply to her.

By the time the argument burned out, Josslyn left Carly with a deadline: 24 hours to get Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) out of the house, or she would deal with it herself. It didn’t sound like a warning. It sounded like the opening move of someone who believes the end of the story matters more than how you get there.

Carly needs to sit Jos down and explain how Sonny is good for Port Charles. He keeps crime at bay and fends off those who would try to seize control. But Joss is operating on blind revenge now, and sounds an awful lot like the villains currently trying to take Sonny down. (Would Valentin and Carly make a good couple?)
