General Hospital's James Patrick Stuart posted about his mother's visit to his new home.
Ever since Anna warned him that the FBI was crashing down on him and Pikeman, James Patrick Stuart’s Valentin has been on the run on General Hospital. In the meantime, Stuart has been all over X, with posts ranging from honoring fallen soap star Johnny Wactor, imparting words of wisdom to store names that remind him of Finola Hughes’ GH character Anna, and everything in between. Recently, he shared a loving tribute to his mom in a heartfelt post.
In June, Stuart posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Jocelyn and I are Portlanders now!” which excited the fans but worried them that he wouldn’t be returning to GH. While there’s been no official word on his GH status, Stuart recently shared a heartwarming pic of him and his mother enjoying the outdoors in his new state. He wrote, “This lovely woman who looks like my sister is my mom visiting from England. I got [to] show her a few of the prettiest parts of my new home state of Oregon.”
One fan responded, “First — you are really missed on GH. Your mom is still beautiful. Did you have a British accent growing up?” Stuart replied, “Yes.” That would explain how he so ably does the voice for the character Private, who is one of The Penguins of Madagascar.
In and among the various fan inquiries about whether he’ll be appearing on GH any time soon, one of Stuart’s followers wrote, “Your mom looks lovely enjoy your day with her and showing her the pretty state of Oregon ❤️.” His fans couldn’t get over how stunning his Mom looked, with one replying, “You inherited her eyes 🙂 Enjoy your visit! Nothing more lovely than spending time with family, especially Mum. 💕.”

Getting back to the question of his GH status, one fan offered a suggestion. “Congrats on yr new home state! I hope you don’t mind commuting when Valentin is put back on the drawing board (🤞soon).” Stuart is also currently working on a new CD during his downtime. Considering his wonderful and hilarious show, The Villains of Valley View was recently canceled. And the fact that Anna (Finola Hughes) is actively searching for him on GH. It’s only a matter of time before he returns to the show and may find time to share his new music.
