Wednesday wasn’t just a dark day for poor Willow Tait on General Hospital — it was one for fans of actress Inga Cadranel as her complicated character, Lorraine “Harmony” Miller, shed her mortal coil after wreaking havoc in Port Charles. The actress shared parting words on the auspicious occasion.
Inga Cadranel Bids General Hospital Goodbye
After seeing so much love from GH viewers on social media, the actress herself wanted to show appreciation for what turned out to be an incredible experience on the ABC soap.
“Wow. What a wild ride! I want to thank each & every #gh fan who took the journey with me,” she wrote on her official Twitter account. “I loved playing this broken woman who only wanted love. Honored to have the chance to bring her to life on [General Hospital]. Now I say farewell Harmony. It was nice knowing you 🙏🥲”
Cadranel’s longtime GH scene partner, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), also weighed in her departure via her official Twitter. “Want to take a sec to wish me love ❤️ interest for the past yr on #gh [Inga Cadranel] a fond farewell for now. Death is for primetime, not Daytime. Won’t be surprised to answer my door one day soon. and say “I thought you were dead, oh well.. coffee?’”
The departing star quickly answered Grahn back saying, “🤣 you were the best scene partner and my favorite sh#t disturber. I’ll miss you [Nancy Lee Grahn]!! ♥️”
Grahn does have a point — people don’t always stay dead on soaps and there’s certainly a precedent on GH to bring people back. That same episode, the ghost of Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), made an appearance to comfort Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Judging by the reaction on social media, fans are hoping this is not the last they’ll be seeing of Inga Cadranel.
