While Sasha believed that whoever messed with baby Daisy is connected to Sonny’s enemies on General Hospital, viewers know that it was actually Willow. But not knowing that, Sasha decided to take her baby and flee the country. It was nice to see that she had gone off to live with her newfound dad, Robert Scorpio. As a result, Sofia Mattsson has exited the show, but it might not truly be the end of the road for her.

A Short Stint Turned Into Seven Years

“I feel like I learned something new every day until the end!” Mattsson told TV Insider. Similar to many other soap actors, when she first got the part in 2018, she thought it would just be a short run. But as time went on, she viewed it as a chance to grow as an actress.

She loved the fact that every script she received deepened her character. What brought things home for her as an actor was finally finding out that Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Holly (Emma Samms) were her parents. “I definitely felt like I understood Sasha better than ever after the revelation of her parents,” she said.
