Newcomer Juliet Donenfeld is briefly stepping into the role of Georgie Spinelli, the daughter of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), on General Hospital. Eden Harker has temporarily stepped away from the role, allowing Donenfeld to showcase her acting chops.
The Revolving Door of Georgie’s Portrayers
The turnstile of who portrays Georgie on GH keeps on spinning. It seems like yesterday that Lily Fisher was replaced in July 2023 by Eden Harker, only to have Fisher return in October 2023. But now comes news that Juliet Donenfeld had temporarily taken over the part on May 2. This change occurred simultaneously with the news that Tristan Riggs would be replacing Enzo De Angelis as Aiden Webber, although that seems to be a permanent transition.
The 15-year-old Donenfeld has a long list of credits, many of which are voice overs. She’s also appeared in Better Call Saul, as well as The Ranch and Station 19 among others. The actress, who is also an award-winning competitive dancer, is the youngest Annie Award nominee for Outstanding Achievement for Voice Acting in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production in 2019.
Racking up her accolades, she was also nominated by the Daytime Emmys in 2021 for Outstanding Performer in a Preschool Animated Program. Both nominations were for her voice portrayal of Sally the Squirrel in the children’s series, Pete the Cat.
Donenfeld already has five more projects lined up, according to IMDb, and even though her GH appearance is temporary, tapping into the powerful soap opera fan base is only going to embolden her career moving forward!
