James Patrick Stuart is back as Valentin on General Hospital, and the fans couldn’t be happier. After letting Anna and Jason take Charlotte back to Port Charles, Valentin also ventured there secretly to get things he’ll need to stay in the wind and mess with Jack. Eagle-eyed fans snagged screenshots of the passports that Valentin retrieved from his old house that now belongs to Sonny. And they noticed the fake name that Valentin used on his passport, which is a great reference to a past Stuart role.
Keep Calm and Shamrock on
On Instagram, Stuart shared a hilarious selfie of him with an extremely serious face, sporting a comically large green bow tie with golden shamrocks on it, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. He captioned it, “Kiss me…I’m Irish.” And while the fans got a kick out of it, the conversation quickly turned to the name that Valentin used in his phony passport.

One fan replied right away with, “Love having you back on GH. The Will Cortlandt nod was great!!😂,” while another followed up by sharing their enthusiasm, replying, “@metta11 I screamed so loudly!” Another fan spelled it out for those who didn’t know by responding, “Happy St.Patrick’s Day from Montréal ☘️ So happy you’re back on GH, and that nod to your AMC’s Will Cortlandt 🙌🥰🥰.”

He’s Magically Malicious
As Stuart’s follower mentioned, the villainous Will Cortlandt was a character on the now-defunct soap All My Children that Stuart played from 1990 to 1994. His post was chock full of St. Patrick’s Day wishes as well as love from the fans and gratitude that he’s back on GH. Quoting the Lucky Charms mascot, another fan responded, “You’re magically delicious! “💚🍀.”

But it seems that Valentin maliciously put the polonium in Carly’s champagne, so perhaps he’s heading back to real villain territory. Whether he’s a good or bad guy, the fans still shared their love for the actor, and one advised his character with, “Happy St Patrick Day! JPS, glad to see you back on GH! Turn yourself in! Listen to Anna [Finola Hughes]! See what happens!” And another follower noted Stuart’s sour look, replying, “Meanmuggin’ in that bowtie somehow works 🤌🏼♥️🍀.”
