Mourning Tragic Loss
On November 10, Goddard previously announced on Instagram that his father had passed away. In a touching message, he shared some of the wisdom that his father had passed on to him.
“As I sit here and reflect upon his life, I’m flooded with memories of all the advice that he gave me growing up,” Goddard wrote. “We’d always call them tips and tricks. Like, ‘You’ve gotta look the part to get the part!’ And ‘Take care, save wear!’ There were so many at the time, you just don’t seem to understand what it is that they’re trying to teach you.”
Shocking GH Exit
Then, on November 19, it was announced that Goddard was stepping down from his role as Professor Henry Dalton, who was killed on the soap. He had many enemies in Port Charles.
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) was upset with him for lying to the police and involving Rocco (Finn Carr). Sidwell (Carlo Rota) didn’t like all the attention that Dalton had created for their operation. So, he lost control and shot Dalton in the chest.
Goddard’s time on the ABC soap has officially ended. The actor hasn’t spoken out about his exit on social media.
