GH started dropping hints that the Cassadine Prince might be popping up on-screen when Laura (Genie Francis), Nik’s mom, and Ava (Maura West), Nik’s ex, began talking about him this week. Now, Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Huss is coming back for some screen time.
Huss first stepped in as Nikolas in 2021 when his previous portrayer, Marcus Coloma, was absent. Huss has reprised the part a few times and played scenes in February when Nikolas went to jail for his crimes.
“Every. Single. Kind. Comment. Has made my day,” Huss wrote on X, formerly Twitter, about the feedback he’s gotten for his GH performances especially when he was reunited with Spencer and Ace (Jay and Joey Clay).
“These scenes were so important for me to get right!” Huss posted. “Loved every minute of filming them. Sending MAJOR love out to you all for taking the time to show your love and appreciation towards me and my portrayal of #Nikolas #cassadine.”
At times, Ava and Nikolas had a War of the Roses-type marriage going on in which they were at each other’s throats more often than not. There’s no telling what’s going to happen when they meet up, presumably at Pentonville, Nikolas’s current residence. Laura made a mention that might not be her son’s home for long as he was being transferred.
Adam Huss will be seen in the web series The Blvd. along with Vincent Irizarry (ex-Lujack, Guiding Light) and Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Tony, GL; ex-Rey, Young and the Restless).
