Rena Sofer reprised the role of Lois Cerullo on General Hospital in October 2023 after she’d been gone from the soap for years. During that time, she played Quinn Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, despite rumors to the contrary, Sofer is NOT out at GH.

Daytime Confidential reported that Sofer will be written out as Lois. However, Soap Opera Digest set the record straight and reported that Sofer is still at GH.
On Monday, August 4, Sofer and her husband, Sanford Bookstaver, moved to New York City.

Soap Opera Network previously reported that Sofer was reduced to a recurring role on the ABC soap. When Sofer announced her move to the East Coast, she didn’t give an update about whether the move meant she would be leaving GH.

It sounds like Sofer will join other GH cast members and daytime actors who travel back to Los Angeles to film as the storyline dictates. SOD reported a source close to the actress said, “This is no different.”
