Although he’s super busy playing Drew Cain on General Hospital and making movies with Great American Family, Cameron Mathison has no trouble scheduling in his new game show, Beat the Bridge. The actor took time to share a fun aspect of his latest endeavor that’s sure to please the fans.
Cameron Mathison shared a video on Instagram on July 28, and wrote, “I hope you’re loving Beat The Bridge so far!!! During filming, I played a little game where I answered a few questions all about game shows 😳😁🌉.” He continued the post with, “Head over to @gameshownetwork’s Instagram to find the other half of the questions and don’t forget to tune into Beat The Bridge EVERY weeknight at 6p on [Game Show Network]!”
In the video, Mathison greeted his fans, stating, “Hey everybody! I’m gonna be answering a few questions all about game shows. Maybe we’ll have some of the same answers. So, let’s do this.” The first question was, “Who do you watch game shows with?” Mathison answered, “I usually watch them with my kids. We kind of sit around. We all try to compete a little bit,” and with very little humility added, “I usually win,” but was just kidding as he followed up with, “Actually, I can’t really lie. My son kicks my butt.”
The next question was, “What is a game show that you grew up watching?” Mathison responded, “I grew up watching Family Feud. That was the show. I mean, our family would sit around in our family room, and we would watch that together, laughing and having a good time.” He further explained that part of the fun was hearing some of the crazy answers and goofs, noting that, “It was just so much fun. It was one of the ones that I…You know, one of the moments that we really had great family time together.”
Considering it was an ad to promote the show, the narrator asked a final question: “How excited are you to be hosting Beat the Bridge?” With all of the enthusiasm we’ve come to expect from Mathison, he responded, “Are you kidding me? I am beyond excited! It is gonna be so great, everybody, so don’t miss out on all the fun!” His wife, Vanessa Mathison, responded, “The best!!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽,” to which he responded with several heart emojis. (Find out about Vanessa’s time on GH!)
