Even soap opera stars need a break occasionally, and General Hospital’s Bradford Anderson is no exception. He and Steve Burton created a blog for their website to allow soap stars a platform to share interesting tidbits about their lives. Anderson started with a cute story about his family’s vacation in Maui.
Hawaii’s in the Bucket
Anderson wrote on Daily Drama about how he and his wife Kiera had first gone to Maui on their honeymoon in 2010, and he hoped that the next time they went to Hawaii, they would be on a different island. But between his eldest daughter stating that Hawaii was a bucket list item for her, he hilariously stated, “What 12-year-old says that?!” — and after hearing positive reviews from both friends and acquaintances, they decided to go to the Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui.
The family had a lot of fun dining, shopping, relaxing at the beach, and posing in front of majestic scenery. On his website, he posted photos of them dining, shopping, relaxing at the beach, and posing in front of majestic scenery. He was delighted that his children were skilled in the art of relaxation. No Outdoorsmen Here
“Full disclosure: We are not the most outdoorsy of families; resort life is more our speed,” he remarked after mentioning that they visited Iao Valley State Monument, which was probably the furthest from relaxation they got. They found a great deal of fun back at the resort, with a wonderful top floor view. Their days were chock full of reading, swimming, water slides, and amazing meals. Anderson even noted, “There was one quick trip to the famous Maui Cookie Lady in the quaint town of Makawao, because…cookies.”
Their trip was a six-hour flight from their home, with a layover in Las Vegas and another 25-minute drive to the resort. But despite the long trip, the Bradford family could find some much-needed rest and recreation. People should take a page from their book, especially hard workers who need a break occasionally.
