General Hospital star Adam Huss, who plays Nikolas, is paying tribute to his beloved grandmother, Rose, who passed away on March 19. She was 91.
Remembering Grandmother Rose
The actor shared a beautiful post honoring his grandma, complete with photos. He wrote, “My Grandma Rose loved the word EXQUISITE and it’s the perfect word to describe her and how she lived,” Huss began an emotional Instagram post, honoring his late grandmother. “She had 9 children, 23 grandkids, and 30 great-grandkids. She loved each and every one of us in a unique and special way. She knew our birthdays, our interests, our significant others, and she somehow made each and every one of us feel important and cared for.
“She didn’t have an extravagant life but she always said she was rich with love.,” the actor continues. “She made people smile wherever she went. She never missed a birthday phone call, never missed giving you a hug and a kiss to tell you how exquisite and beautiful you were, and she loved you with every ounce she had. She could melt you with a single word, even over the phone.
“I know she’s in a beautiful place, with the love of her life, my Pop,” Huss adds. “But we will miss her beyond measure. REST IN PEACE MY WONDERFUL GRANDMA. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME WITH YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE OVER AND OVER AGAIN. YOU LEAVE BEHIND A LEGACY OF LOVE AND CLASS – AND I WILL FOREVER CONTINUE TO LIVE IN YOUR IMAGE.
*I keep seeing hummingbirds since she passed,” Huss had previously posted. “As I do whenever anyone important to me leaves this plane. And a friend sent me a beautiful passage that said hummingbirds only live two years, because they live so ferociously and passionately, they burn out their hearts in that time. Maybe that’s why now I’m seeing so many to represent my Gram. She loved just like that. So passionately, so deeply, so ferociously. May you all be as lucky as I to know a love like that in your lifetime.”
Jason Shane Scott (ex-Will, One Life to Live) posted: “Sorry for your loss, man. She seems like a wonderful woman and a special grandma.”
Soap Hub sends sincere condolences to Adam Huss and his family at this difficult time.
