New Boy In Town: Which General Hospital Lady Should Austin Romance
Austin Gatlin-Holt has been on General Hospital for months, but other than confusing viewers with the fact that we notice he looks exactly like the late Franco – and, before that Llanview visitor Todd Manning – while no one in Port Charles does, he hasn’t done much of anything. Well, romantically speaking anyway.
There was some blackmailing, some corporate intrigue, the usual Quartermaine stuff. Time to get serious and love up! Who should it be? What over 3,000 viewers would like to see happen:
Austin (Roger Howarth) has been so involved in Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby drama, he might as well step in and set himself up to play Daddy, 46% of you suggest. Right now, Maxie and Austin don’t like each other. Can you think of a better way to kick off a romance for the ages?
Flighty, fashionista Maxie seems like an off match for a salt-of-the-earth doctor like Austin. On the other hand, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may not exactly be salt-of-the-earth… but she is a doctor. And that’s enough for 32% ship this pairing. She lost Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) before they could really get started. So she should be over him in no time, right?
No one currently on the canvas is good enough, 18% of the General Hospital audience declares. Austin is someone special. He can’t hook up with just anyone. Give us a couple of options from out of town… and we’ll get back to you.
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) was married to Franco, and 3% would like the pairing re-imagined with Austin. Sure, he’s a different person, and Liz is currently busy with whatever is going on between her and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). But the actors looked pretty together and some fans are still in mourning, so… let’s get cracking!
