It was four years ago when Helena Cassadine suddenly died in her bed on General Hospital. Since then, fans have speculated that she might actually be alive. But, is she?
Well, we will find out next week when Constance Towers makes her General Hospital return with…Shiloh? Of course, with Shiloh.
According to TV Line, Towers will reprise the role of the evil Helena (certainly more evil than Valentin, what did she ever fear of the alleged most evil Cassadine of them all?), but it’s not clear whether she appears in flashbacks or brings Helena back alive.
She did appear in a hallucination at The Nurses Ball two years ago when Jake (Hudson West) was sure he saw the woman who kidnapped him and made his parents believe he had died in a car accident.
It’s seemed logical to Soap Hub for a while that it was Shiloh who delivered Drew Cain (looking like his twin, Jason Morgan) to Helena so that he could have Jason’s memories implanted and become her “Soldier Boy”. (Nice remembering that tidbit, GH, when Drew had to be retconned upon Steve Burton’s return.)
Something tells us we’re about to find out that’s exactly what happened, which would make sense considering that Shiloh knew to turn to Dr. Cabot as soon as he had that flash drive. In the end, it just might turn out he was in on it all.
Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) does share several scenes with Helena next week, but are they both in the past and in the present? Stay tuned to find out as it looks like Drew’s story might end where it began five years ago, as Billy Miller already taped his last scenes with the soap. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
