It’s been months since General Hospital fans were made aware that Nelle was Nina’s long lost daughter. First, we knew, then Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly (Laura Wright) knew, and now Nina (Cynthia Watros) finally knows.

Good Intentions
Jax was trying to protect Nina, 74% of the audience points out, not hurt her. What would be the point of learning that Nelle was her daughter after the girl was declared dead? At least this way, Nina could go on living in hope of a reunion, not mourn a relationship that could now never be. Once Nina sees it from Jax’s point of view, she’ll have no choice but to forgive him.
The Other Woman
A smaller 21% of you believe the opposite, not because of Jax’s intentions but because of his actions. Jax always ends up running to Carly and taking her side. And that’s not something Nina can – or should – forgive. Not only did he lie to Nina about her own flesh and blood, but he did it with Carly. And, sure, Nelle may be dead, but how could Jax not tell Nina that she had a grandson – Wiley! Nina and Carly can be Nanas together!
Lying Liar Who Lies
A last-place 5% don’t see any middle ground here. Jax is a liar. If Nina wants a liar she could have stayed with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) who lies… and also plays the piano. At least with Valentin, she gets lies… and a stepdaughter who loves her. Joss (Eden McCoy) is never going to love Nina. This relationship really has no point. And can’t be saved.
