To her relief, it was a charm for her bracelet and she blurted out that she wasn’t ready for marriage. Apparently, neither was Nathan.
The Proposal
Nathan popped the question to Maxie; then, tossed her a surprise engagement party at The Floating Rib among all their family and friends. There, he proposed again and presented Maxie with a ring, and she eagerly said, “Yes!”
I Do, Already
After their first wedding was foiled – Maxie got the flu; then, Nathan learned he was still married to Claudette – Nathan and Maxie finally wed on January 17, 2017. Nathan gifted his fashionista bride with a designer purse, a vintage necklace and, of course, handcuffs, while Maxie presented him with a baseball autographed by Derek Jeter.
Baby Makes Three
A shocked Maxie discovered she was pregnant, a totally unplanned move. After fretting over how to tell Nathan, she delivered the news and he was over the moon. The twosome looked forward to welcoming their first child.
