The good – and bad – people of General Hospital spent over two decades thinking psycho doc Ryan was good and dead. Nope! Turns out identical twin Kevin – whose life and identity Ryan had previously taken over – was hiding his brother in the hopes of curing him.
Hey, guess what happened when the as yet uncured Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) escaped for the nth time? If you said, he, once again, took over Kevin’s (also Jon Lindstrom) life and identity, you will win a prize! How about a severed hand?
Ryan ended things with Kevin’s wife, Laura (Genie Francis), he played a vulnerable Ava (Maura West) – after killing her daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin) – stabbed Lulu, and went on a kidnapping spree. To summarize, Ryan is a bad man. Sure, he got his kidney stolen, but was that enough of a punishment? Is it time for Ryan to just die already? What almost 2,000 fans told us:
Ryan is bad, Kevin is good, a near landslide 92% of you decree. Which means one brother deserves to live happily ever after, while the other one should get with the program and shuffle off his mortal coil sooner rather than later. In real life, you don’t believe in the death penalty.
In Port Charles, you believe anyone can be redeemed, including serial killer Franco (Roger Howarth), baby snatcher Nina (Cynthia Watros), and rapist Luke (Anthony Geary). But, in this particular case, Ryan has outlived his entertainment value. Which means it’s time to pull the plug.
Only 8% believe there is still a lot more havoc Ryan can wreak on this sleepy upstate New York town, and you don’t want to miss a minute of it. Kevin is pretty dull. He needs Ryan to liven him up. Let Ryan live – and be free! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
