Franco and Liz are doing the best they can to deal with his possible life-ending tumor on General Hospital. He’s freaking out, she’s supporting… the usual Fritz paradigm. But does there seem to be something missing? Is there more GH could do to make this story must-see-TV? What almost 2,000 viewers need to feel compelled to tune in!
Almost half of you, 48%, think Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) need… Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Liz’s sister should be a part of this tale about how Franco’s brain is at risk of exploding and either killing him or turning him back into a serial killer. Sure, Hayden can be fun.
Maybe she’ll distract Liz from the ongoing sadness that is her life? Of course, Hayden has her own drama going on, with Violet and Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes). Maybe those of you who voted for Hayden want her to remind Liz that her husband’s imminent death isn’t nearly as important as Hayden’s love life.
A smaller 31% of the audience thinks Liz and Franco need the support that only a mother can provide. And Franco’s mother happens to be Heather (Robin Mattson), one of the few Port Charles citizens who makes Franco look sane – even during his serial killer days.
Granted, Heather is even more fun than Hayden – in an out-of-her-mind sort of way. If she were injected into Liz and Franco’s story, she would definitely turn the drama up to 11. This might be good for fans, but not so great for Liz. Hasn’t this woman been through enough? Does she really need to deal with Heather on top of everything else?
A last-place 21% want to finally see Liz’s parents! Maybe they won’t make the story any better, but they’ll answer a couple of questions you’ve had for decades! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
