Pint-sized General Hospital star Jophielle Love has joined other Port Charles kids in their love for Star Wars as the world’s annual Star Wars day — May 4th — is here.

General Hospital’s Jophielle Love Has Light Saber Fun

Love, who brings Violet Finn to absolutely adorable life on GH, got in on the lightsaber action with co-stars Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn Quartermaine) and Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) on the set of what appears to be Maxie Jones’s (Kristen Storms) apartment. Is Violet visiting Georgie for the day so they can discuss their parents’ love lives? (Georgie did not seem happy with Austin and Maxie recently). Perhaps Brook Lyn and Chase are babysitting Violet while reuniting with Bailey Louise.

Either way, they all have the force with them as little Love is ready for some Luke Skywalker action against Darth Vader. “#MayThe4th be with you! The dark side wouldn’t stand a chance against Violet. If only we knew someone who could train her in the ways of the Force… @MarkHamill @JophielleLove @josh_swickard @starwars #StarWars #AmandaSetton #GeneralHospital #GH59.”

Perhaps Mark Hamill, who brought the legendary Luke to life, would like to check out what is going on at his old stomping grounds, as the actor got his acting start on GH half a century ago, from 1972 to 1973, where he played Kent Murray. Kent was the nephew of Nurse Jessie Brewer (Emily McLaughlin), who worked with Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) grandmother, Audrey Hardy (Rachel Ames). That was just a few years before he made the first Star Wars movie that was eventually given the name A New Hope.

Star Wars Fun Is Not New To GH

As one might recall, lightsabers offered plenty of fun to Elizabeth and her boys when all was happy and sane and Franco Baldwin was still alive and the boys got a Star Wars game for Christmas one year. After all, both GH and Star Wars are owned by Disney, so it makes sense to feature the classic toys on the show. May the Fourth always be with our favorite Port Charles pals.
